1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

When you register for an account, complete your profile, or communicate with us, we collect information including your name, email address, age, gender, height, weight, and fitness goals. We also collect any information you provide during onboarding about your skin type, grooming habits, and physique objectives.

B. Information Collected Automatically

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Service. This includes your IP address, device identifier (IDFA/AAID), browser type, operating system, and detailed logs of how you use our AI optimization features.

C. Health & Biometric Data

With your explicit permission, we may sync data from integrated health platforms (e.g., Apple Health, Google Fit). This includes steps, sleep cycles, heart rate variability, and stress metrics. This data is used solely to calibrate your personalized fitness routine.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information based on your consent, our legitimate interests, and to fulfill our contract with you. Specific purposes include:

  • Providing and maintaining the Quartz platform and AI services.
  • Personalizing your 30-day fitness routines using Google Generative AI.
  • Processing payments for the "Elite" subscription tier.
  • Conducting analytics to improve app performance and user experience.
  • Sending administrative notifications and motivational alerts.
3. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We share data with vendors who provide infrastructure, payment processing (e.g., Stripe/App Store), and AI processing (Google Cloud/AI SDK). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

5. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state or country where data protection laws may differ. By using Quartz, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States and other jurisdictions where Google Cloud Platform operates.

6. Security & Data Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures, including Firebase encryption and TLS 1.3, to protect your data. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service.

When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. Some anonymised, aggregated information may be retained for product analytics — but it cannot be linked back to you.
